ugh fiascos.

people are not RSVPing to my poker party and i think it might be a total failure. Oh Mike mike, your invited to that if you wanna come, call me (209) 939-9348. Angela broke up with me for spending too much time in Modesto at the hospital with dad... go figure. oh well.

Annie mentioned she didn't know what happened to dad. so long story short he fell out on the street and suffer a massive subdural hemotoma. basically his skull filled with blood and pressed very severely against his brain. it impacted a major portion of his right(?) hemisphere, and left deep bruising in the hypothalumus It happened april 8th really early easter morning. He was in a coma for about two weeks and was in ICU until april 28th when he was moved to a facility in Modesto that specializes in rehabilitating thraecheotemy patients. he managed to have the traech removed sometime in may and has slowly been recovering ever since. He is now eating solid foods, and is beginning to talk and ask quite a few questions.

Poker party? well the news with that is that patrick being a jerk decided not to have it at his house and sent me into a panic. Mom didnt want it here at our house, but with some comprimises, we managed to have it here. the list of people who have definitely agreed to come is rather short, but I hope more people just show up. I am slightly put off by the seeming lack of enthusiasm for it, especially when it is something I have been putting a huge effort into putting together and drumming up interest.

so much for hoping me and patrick could get along better this time around. He's had a myriad of excuses as to why he hasn't invited me to various gatherings, from "your name is too far down th phone list" and i didnt think  you would wanna go" to "i just forgot about you." It really appears that if you cant always drop whatever your doing to do what patty wants, he slowly starts moving you out of his friend circle. Whatever fuck it.

last week jer showed up randomly and we hung out for a few hours, had a beer or two apeice, and just chilled out on my porch. He wasnt aware of what happened with angela and was surprised to hear i was talking to this new girl named rose. Speaking of which, I'm head over heels for this chick. we were hanging out one day and wi was like, let's watch star wars and she was totally pshyched to see it! and we talk about friggin the most random stuff. she wants to be an animator and is right now in LA taking classes at USC on animation. I want to get her to meet myu friends because i suspect they would get along well, and because i want thier opinion of her. i tend to get mixed up with girls my friends dislike and they tend to be more right about them than i realize. i mean all of them knew misty was insane and i didnt believe them. maybe some of them are just better judge of character than i am.

Totaly stoked to read the final HP book, have a semi costume, i think Ill roll by one time to check out everyone elses before i decide if i wanna wear mine. i spent a few hours carving a wand out of some firewood last saturday. but man, I am soo ready for the book!
